Automated Hardware Special Order Arrival Notices
Throughout the day, WebRun monitors Paladin POS for newly received special orders, drafts a friendly pickup-ready email for each waiting customer, and posts a Slack alert so your staff can confirm and send.
How do I automatically notify customers when their special order arrives?
WebRun polls Paladin POS throughout the day for special orders that have just been received, then drafts a pickup-ready notification for each customer in Gmail and posts a Slack alert with a direct link for staff to review and send. Customers are notified quickly without any message going out unreviewed.
- Customers notified within minutes of their special order arriving
- No pickup notice sent without a staff review
- Orders waiting more than two days flagged automatically in Slack

Questions, answered
Will it email the customer without anyone reviewing it first?
No. Every notification is saved as an unsent Gmail draft. A staff member reviews and sends it, so no customer receives an unreviewed message.
What if the customer's email is missing in Paladin POS?
WebRun flags the order in Slack so your team can look up the contact and send the notice manually, ensuring no arrival goes unannounced.
How often does it check for new arrivals?
By default every 15 minutes during your configured business hours. You can adjust the interval in your WebRun settings.
