Automated Special Order Arrival Notices for Nurseries
Every morning, WebRun opens SBI Software, finds special orders that were received since the last run, drafts a friendly pickup notice for each customer, logs each notification to a tracking sheet, and queues the drafts in Gmail for a staff member to review and send.
How do I automatically notify customers when their special plant order arrives?
WebRun opens SBI Software every morning, finds special orders received since the last check, drafts a personalised pickup notice in Gmail for each customer, and logs every notification in a Google Sheet. Staff review and send each draft, so customers hear about their plants quickly without any manual chase.
- Customers hear about their orders the same day they arrive
- Staff spend seconds, not minutes, on each notification
- Every notification is logged so nothing falls through the cracks
Built for garden center owners · plant nursery staff · retail nursery managers

Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it email customers without staff reviewing the message first?
No. Every pickup notice is left as a Gmail draft for a staff member to review and personalise before sending. No customer email goes out automatically.
What if the same customer has multiple special orders arriving at once?
WebRun drafts one notice per order so each item is clearly referenced. Staff can combine them before sending if they prefer.
How does it know which orders are new since the last run?
It filters SBI Software for orders with a received date on or after the previous run date, so no order is processed twice.
