Flag at-risk fund balances and budget variances before they become a problem
Every Monday, WebRun opens Aplos, reads each fund's current balance and compares it to the approved budget, flags any fund with a negative balance, a budget overrun, or a variance exceeding 10 percent, logs the results in a risk Google Sheet, and sends your finance lead a Telegram alert so issues can be addressed before the next board meeting.

Questions, answered
What counts as a material variance for flagging purposes?
By default, any fund with a budget variance above 10 percent or a negative balance is flagged. You can adjust the variance threshold during setup to match your organization's risk tolerance.
Does it make any changes in Aplos automatically?
No. WebRun reads data from Aplos and reports what it finds. All budget corrections, journal entries, and fund transfers are made by your finance team after reviewing the worklist.
Can it track variance trends week over week?
Yes. It archives each week's flags in the Google Sheet so you can see whether a variance is improving or worsening from one week to the next.
