Catalog new evidence the moment it arrives
Whenever a new batch of evidence lands in Google Drive, WebRun opens the intake folder, logs each file's name, source, and upload time, registers it as a project data source in CaseWare IDEA, and posts your team a Slack summary of what arrived and what is still missing.

How do I automatically track and log new evidence files as they arrive?
Whenever new evidence lands in your Google Drive intake folder, WebRun logs each file's name, source, and upload time, imports the importable ones straight into the matter's CaseWare IDEA project as a named data source, and posts your case team a Slack summary of what arrived and what still needs manual handling.
- Every new evidence file is logged the same day it arrives, not weeks later
- Files ready for analysis are registered in CaseWare IDEA automatically
- Nothing needing manual conversion gets missed, it is flagged in the daily summary
Built for forensic accountants · fraud examiners · litigation support teams · paralegals

Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Does it move or delete the original evidence files?
No. WebRun only reads and catalogs what is already in the Drive folder. It never moves, renames, or deletes an original file, so the source copy stays intact for chain of custody.
What happens to files CaseWare IDEA cannot import directly?
They are listed separately in the Slack summary as needing manual conversion or import, such as a scanned image or a locked PDF, so nothing silently falls through the cracks.
Can it tell who uploaded each file?
Yes. It reads the uploader and timestamp Drive already records for each file and includes both in the log, so the intake trail is clear from the first evidence upload.
