Does it contact absent staff members automatically?
No. WebRun posts the coverage gap report to the manager Slack channel only. Contacting staff about an absence is a manager decision and is never done automatically.
Where does the shift roster come from?
You maintain the roster in a Google Sheet with columns for date, staff name, scheduled start, and scheduled end. WebRun reads that sheet each morning and compares it against the Epos Now clock-in data.
What if Epos Now does not have a time-and-attendance module enabled?
Epos Now includes staff clock-in and clock-out functionality in its Back Office. If your plan does not include this feature, you would need to upgrade your Epos Now subscription or supply clock-in data from a separate time-tracking tool.
