Questions, answered
Will it file appeals automatically?
No. WebRun builds the prioritized worklist and alerts your billing team, but all appeal submissions are made by staff. Filing an appeal is an external submission that requires human review to ensure the correct documentation is attached.
How does it calculate the appeal deadline?
It uses the date of denial and the standard appeal window for each payer, which you can configure per insurance carrier. Claims expiring within 5 days are flagged as urgent regardless of dollar amount.
Can it group denials by reason code?
Yes. The Google Sheets worklist includes the denial reason code for each claim, and you can add a grouping view to spot which reason codes are generating the most denials across the practice.
