Automated CharmHealth CT Scan Results Follow-Up Worklist
Every morning, WebRun opens CharmHealth, finds ENT patients with a CT scan ordered in the past 30 days, checks whether results have been received and whether a follow-up appointment has been scheduled, logs unresolved cases to a Google Sheets worklist, and sends a Telegram alert to the clinical team so pending results never wait more than a day to be actioned.
How can I automatically track ENT CT scan results that need a patient follow-up?
WebRun opens CharmHealth every morning and checks all CT scan orders from the past 30 days for results that have been received but have no follow-up appointment scheduled. Unresolved cases are logged to a Google Sheets worklist ranked by urgency, and a Telegram alert goes to the clinical team so every pending result is acted on within a day.
- No CT scan result waits more than one day without clinical action
- High-priority results are flagged automatically by days elapsed
- Clinical team gets a daily Telegram alert with the most urgent cases first

Questions, answered
Will it notify patients that their CT results are ready?
No. WebRun builds a worklist for your clinical team to action. Communicating CT scan results to patients is a clinical responsibility that requires provider review before any patient contact, so all patient notification is handled by staff.
How does it know if a CT result has been received?
It reads the imaging order status in CharmHealth, which is updated when results are received from the radiology provider. It then checks whether a follow-up visit has been booked against that patient record.
What if a provider has already reviewed the result and decided no follow-up is needed?
Staff can mark the case as Closed in the Google Sheets worklist, and WebRun will skip it on subsequent runs so only genuinely unresolved cases appear each day.
