Track pilot certifications and alert before they expire

Every Monday, WebRun opens your pilot certification tracker in Google Sheets, checks expiry dates for FAA Part 107 certificates, TRUST completions, and equipment authorisations, cross-references active assignments in DroneDeploy, and posts a renewal alert to Slack for every certification expiring in the next 60 days.

In short

How do I automatically track drone pilot certification expiry dates?

Every Monday, WebRun reads your pilot certification tracker in Google Sheets, flags FAA Part 107, TRUST, and equipment authorisations expiring within 60 days, checks active DroneDeploy assignments to prioritise the most urgent cases, and posts a clear renewal alert to Slack so no pilot flies on an expired credential.

  • Expiring certifications are flagged 60 days out, not the day before a flight
  • Pilots with active job assignments are prioritised in the renewal alert
  • The compliance team has a clear renewal list every Monday morning

Questions, answered

Which certifications does it track?

It tracks whatever you record in the Google Sheets tracker: typically FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificates, TRUST completions, aircraft registration, and any equipment type authorisations you add.

Will it file the renewal on my behalf?

No. WebRun alerts the team about upcoming expirations and posts renewal links, but submitting any renewal to the FAA or another body requires a pilot or manager to complete it directly.

How do I add a new pilot to the tracker?

Add a new row to the Google Sheets tracker with the pilot name and certification expiry dates. WebRun picks it up automatically on the next Monday run.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
