Tell the lessor when their container gates in

In short

How do I notify a lessor automatically when their container gates in?

WebRun checks gate-in activity in MRI Intermodal Software every hour, logs each returned container to a Google Sheet with its arrival grade and inspection status, and drafts the lessor a notice that their unit has gated in and is queued for inspection. The notice stays unsent for a coordinator to approve, so nothing external goes out on its own.

  • Lessors learn their container has returned within the hour, not days later
  • Every arrival is logged with its grade and inspection status automatically
  • Coordinators approve a drafted notice instead of writing arrival emails by hand

Questions, answered

Will it email the lessor without me?

No. WebRun logs every gate-in to the sheet on its own, but the lessor arrival notice is left as a draft for your coordinator to review and send. No external message goes out unapproved.

How does it know which containers just gated in?

It reads the gate-in activity view in MRI Intermodal Software each hour and compares it to what it already logged, so only containers returned since the last run are captured and no arrival is counted twice.

Can it run more or less often than hourly?

Yes. The cadence is set in your run settings. Busy depots often run it every 30 minutes, while quieter yards run it a few times a day or only during gate hours.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
