Carta Automated Equity Delinquency Risk Worklist
Every Monday, WebRun opens Carta, identifies equity holders with overdue early-exercise payment obligations or outstanding promissory note balances, scores each by risk level based on days overdue and amount outstanding, posts a prioritised worklist to your finance Slack channel, and reconciles open balances against QuickBooks for your accounting team.
How can I identify and prioritise equity holders with overdue payment obligations?
Every Monday, WebRun checks Carta for equity holders with overdue early-exercise or promissory note balances, scores each by risk level, reconciles the figures against QuickBooks accounts receivable, and posts a prioritised worklist to your finance Slack channel with the CFO tagged on high-risk items. No holder is contacted without your finance team's decision.
- High-risk overdue balances are surfaced and tagged for CFO attention every Monday
- QuickBooks reconciliation catches partial payments before any collection action is taken
- Finance team works from a risk-scored list rather than manually reviewing Carta records
Built for startup CFOs · finance teams · equity managers · legal teams

Questions, answered
Will it contact the equity holder directly about their overdue balance?
No. WebRun only posts the worklist internally to your finance Slack channel. All outreach to the holder is handled by your finance or legal team after reviewing the worklist.
How does it define a high-risk item?
By default, high risk means the balance has been overdue for more than 60 days or the amount outstanding exceeds a dollar threshold you set during setup. You can adjust both thresholds to match your policy.
What if a holder has made a partial payment that is not yet in Carta?
The QuickBooks reconciliation step catches this. If QuickBooks shows a lower outstanding balance than Carta, the discrepancy is flagged in the worklist so your accounting team can update both systems before any collection action is taken.
