Automated RouteOne Portfolio Exception and Anomaly Flags

Every morning, WebRun scans the RouteOne deal queue for anomalies such as duplicate applications, LTV outliers, unusual dealer submission patterns, and deals missing required fields, logs each flagged exception to a Google Sheet, and posts a daily exception report to your risk team's Slack channel.

In short

How do I automatically flag portfolio exceptions and anomalies in my RouteOne deal queue?

WebRun scans every new RouteOne deal each morning against your configured exception rules: duplicate borrowers, LTV outliers, missing fields, and unusual dealer patterns. Each flag is logged to a Google Sheet and posted to your Slack risk channel ordered by severity, so the team catches anomalies in hours, not weeks.

  • Anomalous deals are flagged within 24 hours of submission rather than discovered at audit
  • Duplicate borrower or VIN submissions are caught before a second deal is funded
  • The risk team starts each day with a ranked exception list rather than a manual queue review

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens www.routeone.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
RouteOne - scan deals for anomalies and exceptions
    routeone.com
WebRun in RouteOne: scan deals for anomalies and exceptions
WebRun opens RouteOne to scan deals for anomalies and exceptions.
    • Open RouteOne and review all deals submitted or updated in the past 24 hours
    • Flag duplicates where the same borrower SSN or VIN appears on more than one active application
    • Flag deals where the LTV exceeds your configured maximum, where the deal amount falls outside your normal range, or where required fields are blank

Done when Every deal with an anomaly or exception is identified and categorized by exception type.

  3. 2
Google Sheets - log flagged exceptions with details
    google.com
WebRun in Google Sheets: log flagged exceptions with details
WebRun opens Google Sheets to log flagged exceptions with details.
    • Open the Exception Flags log and add a row for each new flagged deal with the exception type, deal number, dealer, and severity
    • Update the status column for exceptions from prior days as they are resolved
    • Archive rows older than 30 days where the exception was resolved

Done when All new exceptions are logged with severity and type, and prior exceptions are updated.

  4. 3
Slack - post exception report to risk team channel
    slack.com
WebRun in Slack: post exception report to risk team channel
WebRun opens Slack to post exception report to risk team channel.
    • Post the day's exception report to the risk team Slack channel, starting with the highest-severity items
    • Include the exception type, deal number, dealer, and a brief description of why it was flagged for each item
    • Post internally to the risk team channel only, never take action on a deal directly

Done when The risk team has today's exception report in Slack with the most critical items at the top.

Questions, answered

Will it reject or modify a flagged deal automatically?

No. WebRun only identifies and reports exceptions. Any decision to reject, hold, or modify a deal is made by a human on your risk team after reviewing the exception report.

How does it define what counts as an anomaly?

You configure the exception rules during setup: your LTV ceiling, normal deal amount range, and any other thresholds. WebRun applies those rules consistently to every deal each morning.

What if the same exception appears every day on a deal the team has already reviewed?

Team members can mark exceptions as acknowledged in the Google Sheet and WebRun will suppress re-alerting for that specific deal, so the daily report only highlights genuinely new or unresolved issues.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
