Automated ABA Parent Progress Update Drafts

Every Monday, WebRun opens CentralReach, reads the prior week's session counts, goal mastery progress, and behavior data for each active client, drafts a parent-friendly update email for each family, and saves every draft in Gmail for your clinical team to review and approve before sending.

In short

How do I automatically draft weekly ABA progress updates for parents?

WebRun reads CentralReach every Monday for each active client's prior-week session hours, goal mastery, and behavior highlights, then drafts a plain-language progress update addressed to that family in Gmail. Every draft waits for your BCBA to review, adjust, and send before any message reaches a family.

  • Clinical team spends minutes reviewing drafts rather than hours writing them from scratch
  • Families receive consistent weekly updates because the drafting step is never skipped
  • No protected health information is sent to families without BCBA review and approval

Questions, answered

Will it send progress updates to families automatically?

No. Every family-facing message is saved as a Gmail draft and waits for your BCBA or clinical lead to review, edit, and send. No protected health information leaves your practice without clinical approval.

Does the draft include raw data graphs or clinical scores?

The draft is written in plain, family-friendly language. It references session hours, goals worked, and skills mastered in everyday terms. Detailed clinical data sheets remain in CentralReach for the BCBA's reference.

What if a client had no sessions that week?

Clients with zero sessions in the prior week are excluded from the draft run. Your Slack notification will note if any active clients were skipped so the team can follow up as needed.
